Working in Zambia

Zambia has enjoyed continuous economic growth since the 1980s, particularly in its major industries, mining, construction and manufacturing. The country has the 16th largest economy on the continent, and exports much of its natural resource.

Why work in Zambia?

Zambia is one of the largest mining economies in Southern Africa. The economy has much potential, but is hampered by some costly areas of the public sector. The country is actively trying to diversify the economy. The capital city, Lusaka, has much to offer in terms of culture and social life. There are many international schools which offer a high level of education, as the public school system is lacking. You must obtain a job offer before applying for a work permit.
